BRACU Alumni Connections Across Australia
As part of a series of alumni-led initiatives aimed at strengthening engagement and moving towards official recognition of BRAC University alumni activities in Australia, BRAC University alumni recently organized an informal Adda-series across three cities.
From Adelaide to Sydney to Melbourne, the BRAC University Alumni Association Australia (BRACUAAA) brought graduates together to reconnect, mentor, and build community.
The series began on 9 August 2025 in Adelaide, where nearly twenty alumni from the first BRACU batch to recent graduates gathered. Organized by Shariful Jiko and Rajib Chakrabarty, the meetup focused on welcoming new arrivals and sharing guidance and support.
On 29 August in Sydney, more than forty alumni joined a lively Bot Tola Cha Adda. Organized by Arpita, Hasnat, and Shaon, the evening featured career conversations, songs, and a post-meetup dinner that strengthened both personal and professional ties.
The final gathering of this series took place on 30 August in Melbourne, with over forty alumni engaging in discussions on careers and creative ventures. Supported by Global Heights and organized by Nusrat and Fatin, the event reflected the inclusive and dynamic spirit of BRACUAAA.
These gatherings reaffirmed that the BRACU spirit of friendship and mentoring travels wherever alumni go. With plans to expand to Hobart, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Darwin, and Perth, BRACUAAA invites alumni across Australia to stay connected and be part of the growing community.
